Lisa A. Hanson is a magna cum laude graduate of  Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan.  She has ten years of law practice experience.  Lisa was first licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan in 1999 and then obtained her Tennessee law license after relocating to East Tennessee with her husband and two young daughters in 2003.  

Shortly after graduating from law school, Lisa embarked on her own family building journey.  She unexpectedly encountered challenges of unexplained infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss.  These experiences impacted Lisa in a profound and permanent way.  Through the course of it all, she came to understand the deep emotional and financial impact that infertility and pregnancy loss has on individuals and couples.  Her personal experiences have inspired her to help others with their family building challenges. 

Lisa is a professional member of RESOLVE, The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), The American Fertility Association, and the American Surrogacy Center.  She is a member of the American Bar Association's section on Family Law and its Committees on Assisted Reproduction and Genetics Law. She is also a member of the Hamilton County and Tennessee Bar Associations.
